Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage to reach net zero we must take CO2 out of the atmosphere not just stop adding to it.
Read MoreThe chemical industry is responsible for 2.5% of global CO2 emissions. To eliminate them, we help the industry switch from fossil to sustainable, CO2-based, feedstock.
Read MoreEthylene is the most commonly used feedstock in the chemical industry, necessary to make every object in our daily lives.
Read MoreWe fabricate membrane electrode assembly (MEA) electrolyzer consisting of a cathode and an anode separated by a polymer electrolye membrane.
Read MoreE-ETHYLENE is the result of five years of research and development by Damien Voiry’s team at the European Institute of Membranes, initiated with an ERC Starting Grant in 2018. Over the next four years, the project achieved several milestones, including the registration of two patents in 2020 and 2022. The support from a technology transfer organization (SATT AxLR Occitanie Méditerranée) accelerated the project with the recruitment of a full team and the incorporation of the start-up in 2023.
We are developing ambitious projects with a several of partners to prove that embedding CO2 into valuable materials is a technically and commercially viable alternative to just bury it underground.
From leading academic outfits, to hard-to-abate industry players, from renowned technology companies, to ambitious start-ups, our partners share our vision of a world where CO2 is a valuable resource to be recycled infinitively.
